Accessibility Statement
We believe everyone should be able to use the service comfortably. This statement explains what was actually tested, what was fixed, what is still not perfect, and how to contact us.
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. Our commitment
Interest (the operator of NeedPS) is committed to making the service accessible to all users, including people with disabilities, on the website and in the app (iOS, Android, web).
2. Accessibility level
The service was built in accordance with Israeli Standard SI 5568 at level AA (which adopts WCAG 2.0 at level AA), and in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments for Service) Regulations, 5773-2013.
3. When the audit was done and who did it
The latest accessibility audit was carried out on August 24, 2026 by the service operator, as an internal review of the app's code and of the website. The audit was not carried out by an external certified accessibility consultant.
The audit consisted of actual measurement, not estimation. In the app, all 141 tappable controls were checked to make sure each one has a role and a name that a screen reader announces, and that a control that is unavailable announces it. On the website and in the web editor, every piece of text actually displayed in the browser was measured against the real background it sits on, using the contrast threshold that matches its font size and weight.
4. Technologies tested
- Browsers: current versions of Chrome, Safari and Firefox.
- App: iOS and Android.
- Screen readers: VoiceOver on iOS and TalkBack on Android.
5. Accessibility features of the service
- Every button and control in the app has a role and a name that a screen reader announces, including icon buttons that have no visible text (close, cancel, crop, rotate).
- A control that is currently unavailable announces it, so it is clear why tapping it does nothing.
- The contrast ratio of text against its background meets the level AA requirement (4.5:1 for normal text).
- Information is not conveyed by color alone. For example, every color in the marking tool also has a written name in Hebrew.
- The app respects the font size set in the device settings, and does not override the operating system's text enlargement.
- Full support for Hebrew and for right-to-left layout.
- No flashing content.
6. Components that are not fully accessible
- AI image results are graphics and have no built-in text description. A screen reader can identify that it is a result image, but cannot describe its content.
- The marking and cropping tools are based on drawing and dragging on the image, and are therefore hard to operate without sight. The other tools do not require drawing.
- The separators at the bottom of the page (the | character) are shown in a light shade that does not meet the contrast requirement. They only separate links and carry no information; every link next to them is fully readable.
- The website and the app have not been audited by an external certified accessibility consultant, and have not been tested by users with disabilities.
If you have difficulty with any of these components or any other component, contact us and we will help you in an alternative way.
7. Accessibility requests / accessibility coordinator
If you run into an accessibility problem, we will be glad to help, and such a request also helps us fix it. Our accessibility coordinator:
- Name: Mor Peretz
- Email: need4ps@gmail.com
- Phone: 052-637-3277
- Response time: up to 7 business days.
8. Physical accessibility arrangements
The service is provided remotely only. We have no office open to the public, so building accessibility adjustments do not apply to us.
9. Updating this statement
This accessibility statement is reviewed and updated from time to time, and in any case after a significant change to the service. Last updated: August 24, 2026.
