Edit Photos by Typing in Spanish, Arabic or Any Language

You can edit a photo by typing what you want in your own language with NeedPS, an AI photo editor for iPhone and Android. Write "quita a la persona que está detrás de mí", "احذف الشخص من الخلفية" or "entferne die Person im Hintergrund", and the app understands which edit you mean and who should go.
The app's menus are in English. Your requests do not have to be: the request box reads the language you think in.
On October 7, 2026 we typed seven photo-editing requests in Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish and Arabic into the live app's request box. Every one opened the right tool and described the right change.
What we tested, and what came back
Each request below was sent to the same request box the app uses. The right column is how NeedPS understood it before any editing started.
- Spanish, "quita a la persona que está detrás de mí": remove the person standing in the background behind the main subject.
- Spanish, "restaura esta foto antigua de mis abuelos": restore the old photo.
- Portuguese, "tire o homem do fundo da foto": remove the man standing in the background.
- French, "supprime la personne à gauche": remove the person standing on the left side of the photo.
- German, "entferne die Person im Hintergrund": remove the person in the background, behind the people in front.
- Turkish, "arkadaki kişiyi sil": remove the person standing in the background.
- Arabic, "احذف الشخص من الخلفية": remove the person standing in the background.
How to edit a photo in your language

Pick a photo
Open NeedPS on your phone and choose the photo you want to change.

Write it the way you would say it to a friend, in any language: who to remove, what to restore, what background you want.

Check what the app understood
NeedPS shows the change it is about to make before it starts, so a misunderstanding is caught before it costs an edit.

Every result is saved, and you can make the next change on top of it.
What you can ask for
- Remove a person or an object, and the background is filled in.
- Restore an old, torn or faded photo, with black-and-white photos coming back in color.
- Unblur and upscale to 4K.
- Change the background, the clothes or the whole scene. Faces are built to stay recognizable.
- Add a person from another photo.
- Make a post, story, flyer or banner from one sentence with the Create tool, with the text written in your language and checked after it is drawn.
Good to know
The interface, help screens and support are in English. Short, specific requests work best in every language: "remove the man on the left" is clearer than a long description of the whole photo. If the app picks the wrong tool, you can choose the tool yourself from the list.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an AI photo editor that understands Spanish?
Yes. NeedPS lets you type photo edits in Spanish and other languages. In a test on October 7, 2026, Spanish requests to remove a person and to restore an old photo both opened the right tool and described the right change.
Can I edit photos by typing in Arabic?
Yes. An Arabic request to remove a person from the background was understood correctly in our test. The app interface itself is in English.
Is the app interface in English?
